A Courtesy visit to the vice-chancellor of the University of Abuja, Professor Fawehinmi Hakeem Babatunde

 

The executive members of the CSDN paid a courtesy visit to Professor Fawehinmi Hakeem Babatunde, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Abuja, ahead of the forthcoming membership induction and award ceremony.




The visit was aimed at formally informing the vice-chancellor about the planned program and seeking the institution’s support and collaboration.

In his response, the vice-chancellor warmly received the delegation and assured the CSDN leadership of his total support, noting that the vision and mission of the organization strongly align with national priorities and global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

COURTESY VISIT TO THE CENTRE FOR ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES, UNIVERSITY OF ABUJA BY THE CONGRESS FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF NIGERIA (CSDN)

  On September 11, 2025, we conducted a courtesy visit to the Centre for Environmental Studies at the University of Abuja. Our delegation was warmly welcomed by the Centre Coordinator, Dr. Christopher Sako Kato, and Miss Ronas Richard, the Programme Officer. The Director of the Centre, Prof. Dakyes Samuel Panse, welcomed our delegates — Mr. Mustapha Muhammed J., National President; Comr. Ahmed Abdul Yusuf, National Secretary; Mrs. Khadijat Babansule, Deputy National Secretary; and Mrs. Shola Akomolafe, a PhD student of the Centre — to his conference room for an engaging discussion.
