The University of Abuja Transition Committee visited the Sustainable Development Center, Area 3

ATTENTION! ATTENTION!! ATTENTION!!!


This is to formally inform all students that the University of Abuja Transition Committee, led by Prof. Sule Magaji, paid an official visit to the Sustainable Development Centre (SDC) today.

During the visit, the Committee held constructive engagements with the Director, Prof. Obida Wafure, and staff of the Centre on issues relating to the Centre’s operations and student welfare.



The students were formally represented during the visit by the leadership of the Congress for Sustainable Development of Nigeria (CSDN), led by the National President, Comr. Mustapha Muhammed J., and the Deputy National Secretary, Comr. Khadijat Bolanle Yusuf, who actively engaged the Committee on matters affecting students of the Centre.



Consequently, the Transition Committee has directed that all Class Governors (Student Leaders) should engage their classmates to gather accurate and detailed information on the following:


Progress made so far; Challenges faced by students within the Centre; and Suggested ways forward. Each Class Governor is expected to compile a concise summary report based on feedback from their classmates and submit it to the official CSDN WhatsApp number provided below:

COURTESY VISIT TO THE CENTRE FOR ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES, UNIVERSITY OF ABUJA BY THE CONGRESS FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF NIGERIA (CSDN)

  On September 11, 2025, we conducted a courtesy visit to the Centre for Environmental Studies at the University of Abuja. Our delegation was warmly welcomed by the Centre Coordinator, Dr. Christopher Sako Kato, and Miss Ronas Richard, the Programme Officer. The Director of the Centre, Prof. Dakyes Samuel Panse, welcomed our delegates — Mr. Mustapha Muhammed J., National President; Comr. Ahmed Abdul Yusuf, National Secretary; Mrs. Khadijat Babansule, Deputy National Secretary; and Mrs. Shola Akomolafe, a PhD student of the Centre — to his conference room for an engaging discussion.
